Welcome to Rose Hip Island.
I am back for another year of the Big Wool Show! My virtual stall is filled with hand dyed yarn and I hope you will find something you love. Thank you for visiting my shop.
Rose Hip Island is a one woman show run from my home in Northern Tasmania. I am passionate about knitting, yarn, wool, sheep and creating. I love playing with colour and textures and that shows in all my fibre related adventures. I believe that every colour is beautiful, you just have to pair it with something that makes it shine!

My dyeing is a creative process where my background in Science, my Swedish heritage and my love for colour and yarn come together. I see my undyed yarn as a blank canvas and create unique colourways like you would create a painting. I like to challenge myself and take the unexpected direction when I layer my yarn with colour.
