The Great Ocean Road Woollen Mill has seen some big changes this year – and the changes are still happening. They relocated to Ballarat in April and currently operate out of an industrial area in Delacombe.

They have also purchased a 22 acre block on the edge of Ballarat – Burrumbeet where their animals are located. Awaiting building permit they are looking to ‘recreate’ what they had in their old location – a truly paddock to product experience.

The mill is fully owned and operated by husband and wife team Nick and Isabel. It was established in 2015 so Nick and Isabel could make productive use of the fibre from their growing herd of alpacas.

Both Nick and Isabel are passionate about Australian-made products that are both ethical and sustainable. They also believe in competitive and realistic pricing for their unique range of yarns and garments to allow everyone to enjoy these beautiful products.
