Cat runs Cat & Sparrow Fibres Australia and she enjoys working with natural materials. She dyes her fibres and yarn in her Melbourne based home studio in small batches, and she’s happy to take custom orders!

There’s something special about spinning your own yarn and using it to make your own clothing or other items that are useful, or simply for fun. Each make is a journey, a process, and each holds a story - a yarn of creativity.

Introducing Anna and Mike from Stitchcraft & Wizardry! We are a husband and wife team, both as mad as a box of frogs, but in a good way. We both have our own different craft interests and we support each other in those pursuits. We inspire each other and are constantly coming up with new fun, practical and sometimes mad designs. We dye our own yarn, make project bags and stitch markers along with hand-turned crochet hooks, nostepinnes and more, all from artisan woods.

Meet Katrina from Pirate Purl Yarns! From her small studio in the harbourside city of Newcastle, Katrina, AKA Pirate Purl Yarns, hand-dyes small-batch artisanal colourways on Australian yarn and wool tops.

Katrina is relentlessly environmentally conscious, constantly looking for process improvements that reduce the impact of her process and products.

This extends to a short supply chain, with farmers in Victoria, and supply chain transparency that values the contribution of everyone in the chain from farmer to you.

Meet Wendy from Beersheba Farm! Nestled in a picturesque valley in North-East Victoria, Beersheba Farm is home to several breeds of sheep: Merino, two rare breed stud flocks (English Leicester and Drysdale) and Castledale,  a new breed we are developing specifically for the handcraft market to provide an Australian alternative to some popular imported wool types.

Focusing on the hand-spinner and fibre-crafter, our aim is to supply home-grown quality raw fleece, hand-dyed wool and select Australian yarns. All the processing of our wool is done in Australia.  Provenance is guaranteed.
