Challenge: Discover someone new!

Today I’ve got a challenge for you! One of the best things about The Big Wool Show is exploring and discovering. So I want you to take a look through our Marketplace, and support a business you haven’t heard of before!

I am blown away by the talent of of our up-and-coming fibre artists and designers. And to prove it - here are two stalls you should definitely check out!

Maximoo Yarns is from the Mornington Peninsula, south-east of Melbourne. You can usually find Max at the local Emu Plains Market. Max is probably the youngest indie dyer we have at The Big Wool Show this year - and just look at that beautiful yarn! Go show Max some love!

How gorgeous are these fibres and yarns by Erika of By Carola Down Under? If you’re keen on botanical dyeing, you need to check these out - Erika achieves the most stunning range of colours using madder, eucalyptus, indigo and more. If you’re looking for a project bag to keep your knitting safe on the go, Erika has you covered! Go show Erika some love!
